Trinity gets the National Championship hardware

It’s been a little over a month since the Trinity Shamrocks walked off the field with the Kentucky High School Athletic Association state title for the 21st time but today the Rocks received the RivalsHigh National Championship title and the National Championship title. Coach Bob Beatty and the team had the trophies delivered to them by Dallas Jackson of RivalsHigh and Dave Berk of

The Rocks set the bar high this year beating top teams from Nashville, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. This schedule coupled with the dominant performance is those games led Dallas Jackson a national analyst for to say” Trinity was as balanced as it was dominant.” Many others shared his view as Trinity being the most complete high school football team in the nation for the 2011 season. Along with RivalsHigh and Trinity also finished as the number one team in the Sports Illustrated High School rankings as well as the Massey Ratings. They finished either second or third in most other notable polls.

Coach Beatty picked up his own accolades winning National Coach of the Year by USA Today. He spent last week in San Antonio, Texas as an assistant coach in the US Army All-American Bowl coaching the nations top high school senior football players.
